At Piles Ranch, we’re all about hard work, hands-on experiences, and sharing the farm life with others. Our dream has always been to become self-sufficient while teaching our three boys the value of working for what they want. After 11 years as a nurse, I made the leap to become a stay-at-home mom, and that’s when we decided to turn our passion for farming into something bigger—an opportunity to share this lifestyle with families who might not otherwise get to experience it.

Together, my husband and I, along with some amazing friends, keep the ranch running. I handle the planning, events, and social media, while my husband takes on the heavy lifting—building shelters for all the animals I can’t resist bringing home!

At Piles Ranch, we believe in education, family-friendly fun, and connecting people with where their food comes from. Unlike traditional petting zoos, we focus on hands-on, educational experiences that allow visitors to truly engage with farm life. Whether it’s through our mobile petting zoo, on-site events, or animal sales, we want to create meaningful connections between people, animals, and nature.

As we grow, we dream of expanding Piles Ranch to include sunflower patches, pumpkins, and even elopements—continuing to build a space where people can make unforgettable memories on the farm.
